MHD/Shocks: Rankine-Hugoniot Graphs

This module allows you to vary the Mach number that measures the strength of the shock, the plasma β that measures the ratio of the thermal to magnetic pressure, the angle between the upstream field and the shock normal, and the polytropic index in the ideal gas law, and then to view graphs of the jump in magnetic field strength, number density, temperature, and plasma β. Select None to calculate discrete values for the jumps in the plasma quantities.
